Intelligent Payment Application

Terms

Working draft, pending legal review. These terms describe how the product actually behaves. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as a complete agreement yet.

The calculator is educational

It shows you the arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not give investment, tax, insurance or legal advice, and does not recommend specific products or securities.

Projections assume no interest and no change in income, and say so where they appear. They are illustrations, not forecasts, and real outcomes will differ.

One page — the public sample at /demo — orders possible destinations for spare money by what a dollar put in each would be worth on stated assumptions. It runs only on fictional households, never on your own numbers, and the ordering is arithmetic rather than a recommendation about any particular product.

Your numbers are yours

What you enter is yours. You can change it, and you can ask us to delete it. We do not sell it. See Privacy for exactly what is stored.

Wallets, if you use them

Wallets are self-custodial. They are not a bank account, they are not deposits, and they are not insured by the FDIC or anyone else.

They are currently available to a limited group and operate on a test network with test funds. Test funds have no monetary value.

Transfers are final. There is no undo — not by IPA and not by our wallet provider. If you send to the wrong place, the funds are gone. Losing access to your account and your recovery method can mean losing access to the funds in it.

Labelling a wallet, giving it a target, or pointing a goal at it has no legal effect. Nothing is escrowed, reserved, or protected from anyone by doing so.

We do not offer a return

Nothing in this product pays interest or yield. No rate is offered, promised or implied, on a wallet balance, a savings goal, or a community contribution.

Choosing a community percentage is a plan, not a payment. Nothing is collected or transferred when you set one.

What isn't available yet

Cards, funding and cash-out are in development, subject to partner approval and launch readiness. They are not available today, and describing them here is not an offer of them. That includes cards for a business or its people: there is no card programme behind this product.

The same is true of community reserve accounts. The plan is that pledges would one day be collected into a reserve account for your zip code, held by a partner institution rather than by us, where any interest it earned would stay in that zip code's reserve rather than being paid out to the people who pledged. No such account exists, no partner has been appointed, no money is collected, and no rate is offered, promised or implied. Describing the plan here is not an offer of it, and it is not a return on anything you pledge.

Business accounts

A business here is self-declared. Nobody verifies the name, the registration, or that you are entitled to act for it. Setting one up does not create a company, a bank account, or any legal separation between business and personal money.

A business wallet is one person's own self-custodial wallet, labelled for the business. Whoever created it holds the only key. We hold nothing, we cannot move it, and if that person loses access to their account the money is gone.

Do not use this to pay wages. Paying wages in stablecoin runs into federal and state wage-payment rules, and we do no tax withholding and produce no tax forms. It is for reimbursements, paying vendors and contractors, and setting money aside for people to spend. Payments to contractors may still be reportable by you.

A member's “spend wallet” is not a payment card. There is no card network, no PIN, no expiry and no merchant acceptance, and nothing here is issued by a bank.

Nobody can see anyone else's balance. You can only be paid once you designate a wallet to be paid at, and only you can do that — being in a business does not do it for you.

Availability

This is early software offered as-is. Features may change or be withdrawn, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
